Hiking in Montserrat Natural Park
This magnificent tour dedicated to the nature and sport, will lead you through the wonderful natural park of Montserrat, home of the most emblematic sights of Catalonia. Participants will visit the world-famous Montserrat Monastery and Basilica, discovering the historical and cultural side of out-of-door hiking.
Your day begins by driving to Montserrat, passing through the countryside surrounding Barcelona. Hiking through the natural park of Montserrat you will enjoy the quiet of this great area, away from the noise of Barcelona city. The hike is suitable for those with a moderate levels of fitness as there are sections of numerous rock stairs and some inclines.
During your hike your guide will explain you many things about the unique morphology of the mountain, the geography and historical facts of interest.
